<br />6.1C <br />Page 41 <br /> <br />APPENDIX B <br /> <br />SIDELETTER OF AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Paul Sheffield <br />President <br />Redwood City Police Sergeants Association <br /> <br />Subject: Sideletter of Agreement <br /> <br />Paul: <br /> <br />During the recently concluded negotiations for a successor Memorandum of <br />Understanding (MOU) between the City of Redwood City and the Redwood City Police <br />Sergeants Association, the parties agreed that during the term of agreement, they will: <br /> <br />I. Meet and confer on converting paid holidays to a holiday differential. The parties <br />will go through the meet and confer process after such time as an opinion letter <br />from CalPERS is received clarifying if such holiday differential is recognized as <br />compensation in the CalPERS pension program. <br /> <br />2. Meet and confer on payout and conversion of accrued leave benefits to the <br />CalPERS system at the time of retirement.
