C, Milpitas, CA 95035 siliconvalley@publicallies.org PHON E 408.586.7633 FAX 408.586.7637 ALLI ES MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING 2006-2007 This Memorandum of Understanding outlines the financial agreement between Public Allies Silicon Valley and City of Redwood City/Fair Oaks Community Center. This MOU is an addendum to the complete contract; a copy is attached to this document. City of Redwood City IFair Oaks Community Center agrees to: . Pay their portion of the AllyjAmeriCorps member's living stipend in three separate payments of $5,259.00 payable to Public Allies Silicon Valley on September 30, 2006 December 31, 2006 and March 31, 2007. The total amount for the ten months, including FICA costs, is $15,777.00. . Provide a person to serve as a direct supervisor to the AlliesfAmeriCorps members. . Provide the supplies and resources necessary to carry out their duties; e.g. desk, phone and appropriate training and office supplies. . Complete evaluations - mid year and year end, as well as participate in Supervisor Focus Group. Public Allies Silicon Valley agrees to: . Pay the AlliesjAmeriCorps members in twice monthly checks of $750.00 over the ten months. . Record hours served. . Provide health care and child care coverage. . Provide an educational stipend of $4,725.00 to the each member upon satisfactory completion of the program. . Provide a program manager, who will provide support to both the partner organization and the AllyjAmeriCorps member. Both agencies will be responsible for: . Training and supporting the AlliesjAmeriCorps members. Protocol to address issues when MOU/Operational Agreements are not being met: If any issues arise or if MOUjOperational Agreements are not being met, a meeting of representatives from both agencies will be called to discuss the issues. We, the undersigned, as authorized representatives of Public Allies Silicon Valley and City of Redwood City/Fair Oaks Community Center hereby approve this document.
