4/26/99 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13612 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR BOND COUNSEL SERVICES - <br /> REDWOOD SHORES TRAFFIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires special bond counsel <br />services for a proposed Mello-Roos Community Facility District or other debt <br />financing (the "Bond Issue") for Redwood Shores traffic improvement upgrades <br />(the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth, a professional corporation <br />of San Francisco, California, represent that they are qualified by training and <br />experience to perform such special bond counsel; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve and authorize execution of <br /> <br />the hereinafter referenced letter agreement with said bond counsel; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain letter agreement entitled, "Mello-Roos Community Facilities <br />District - Bond Counsel Agreement", dated April 2, 1999 by and between the <br />City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California and <br />Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth, a Professional Corporation, for bond counsel <br />services, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br />which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby <br /> <br />Reso-636 <br />G:~shared\redwood~cou ncil <br />DES:djk <br />04/09/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
