EXHIBIT A <br /> Exoerience and Traininq Guidelines: <br /> <br /> Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required <br /> knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities <br /> would be: <br /> <br /> Exoerience: <br /> <br /> Five years in the tree maintenance industry with an emphasis on urban forestry <br /> management. <br /> <br /> Education: <br /> <br /> Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by specialized training <br /> in t~ee maintenance, arboriculture, and urban forestry. (Associates degree or <br /> Bachelor's degree in Urban Forestry or Environmental Horticulture desirable) <br /> <br /> Licenses or Certificates: <br /> <br />Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid California Commercial Class A Driver License <br />within six months. <br /> <br />International Society of Arboriculture Arborist Certification (WClSA Tree Worker <br />Certification desirable). <br /> <br />C.P.R. & First Aid certificate. <br /> <br />Possession of, or ability to obtain, an American Society of Consulting Arborists (A$CA) <br />Certification within twenty-four months. <br /> <br />Soecial Reauirements: <br /> <br />Must be able to perform heavy manual labor, work outside in varying climatic conditions, <br />work at heights in trees, lift heavy objects, and be in sufficiently good health to perform <br />job duties. <br /> <br /> 13608 <br /> <br /> <br />
