4/26/99 <br /> -- ORIGINAL -- <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13605 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF LETTER PERMIT <br /> TO POST "NO PARKING" SIGNS TO PROHIBIT PARKING ON <br /> CERTAIN STREETS ON AUGUST 1, 1999, DURING THE TOUR <br /> DE PENINSULA <br /> <br /> (THE PENINSULA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION FUNDRAISER) <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain letter permit issued to The San Francisco Chronicle and <br /> RhodyCo Productions to conduct the Tour de Peninsula bicycle ride in the City <br /> of Redwood City and the authority to post "No Parking" signs along Brewster <br /> Avenue in both directions between Duane Street and Alameda de las Plugas, <br /> and on the east side of Alameda de las Plugas from Brewster Avenue to <br /> Edgewood Road to prohibit parking on August 1, 1999, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., in <br /> the form of Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated <br /> herein, is hereby approved, and the regulation of the public rights-of-way <br /> described therein is hereby adopted pursuant to Vehicle Code Section 21100, <br /> and the Chief of Police is hereby authorized to issue said permit. <br /> <br />Reso-642 <br />DES:djk 1 <br />G:/Shared/R edwood/Coumcil <br />04/15/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
