Kiwanis Club Board Member Re: Woodside Terrace Kiwanis Club Carnival Dear Mr. Warner, The City Council on April 26, 1999, by resolution xxxxx has authorized me to issue this letter permitting the Woodside Terrace A.M. Kiwanis Club, through Butler Amusements, to conduct a Carnival in downtown Redwood City, subject to and in accordance with the terms and conditions herein. The permission herein granted is to the Woodside Terrace A.M. Kiwanis, (hereinafter for convenience, called "Permittee"), through Butler Amusements by the City of Redwood City (hereinafter called the "City"). This permit is subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. Carnival. The Camival shall be sponsored and conducted by Permittee. The sale of alcoholic beverages shall be prohibited. 2. Revocation. This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the City of Redwood City. 3. Non-transferability. This permit is non-transferable. 4. Location. The City shall order the necessary temporary parking lot closures of the City owned municipal lot at Jefferson and Middlefield (refer to attached map) and provide barricades, but Permittee shall be responsible for placing the barricades. The areas as shown on the attaced map shall be reserved for the Carnival. 5. Dates and Time. The Carnival shall be held from 10:00 A.M. on July 1, 1999, and end at 11:00 PM on July 4, 1999. Set up time will begin at 6 PM on Wednesday, June 30, 1999. The site will be cleared by 5 AM on July 5th, 1999. The Carnival shall not operate on July 4, 1999, until after 1 PM or the end of the 4th of July Parade, whichever is later. This means that 1 13604
