The work is focused on the creation of new Gateway Arch at the intersec- <br />tion of Middlefield and Marshall. <br /> <br />Our fee proposal included five phases of work within a specified timeframe, summarized below: <br />1. 50% Construction Documents: $20,000. (scheduled completion 23 October 2006) <br /> <br />2.95% Construction Documents: $15,000. (08 November 2006) <br /> <br />3. Bid Set Construction Documents: $5,000. (15 November 2006) <br /> <br />4. Miscellaneous Coordination, Meetings: $10,000. (August-November 2006) <br /> <br />5. Construction Support Services: $9,500 (January-March 2007) <br /> <br />On 08 December 2006 Amendment number 1 in the amount of $13,500 was executed for ad- <br />ditional Engineering Services, bringing the Total Contract Amount to $73,000. <br /> <br />Because of delays in review and changes to design, Task 3. Bid Set Construction Documents, was <br />not completed until April 2007. After review of the Bid Set, the City has decided to revise the scope <br />of the project-removing some items, and adding others. There have also been changes due to <br />discovery of underground utilities not found in the original investigation. <br /> <br />For these reasons you have asked us to submit a proposal for additional services to prepare an- <br />other set of Bid Documents. We have budgeted one review submittal of plans and specifications <br />and one final set of wet-signed plans and specifications. <br />
