The work is focused on the creation of new Gateway Arch at the intersec- tion of Middlefield and Marshall. Our fee proposal included five phases of work within a specified timeframe, summarized below: 1. 50% Construction Documents: $20,000. (scheduled completion 23 October 2006) 2.95% Construction Documents: $15,000. (08 November 2006) 3. Bid Set Construction Documents: $5,000. (15 November 2006) 4. Miscellaneous Coordination, Meetings: $10,000. (August-November 2006) 5. Construction Support Services: $9,500 (January-March 2007) On 08 December 2006 Amendment number 1 in the amount of $13,500 was executed for ad- ditional Engineering Services, bringing the Total Contract Amount to $73,000. Because of delays in review and changes to design, Task 3. Bid Set Construction Documents, was not completed until April 2007. After review of the Bid Set, the City has decided to revise the scope of the project-removing some items, and adding others. There have also been changes due to discovery of underground utilities not found in the original investigation. For these reasons you have asked us to submit a proposal for additional services to prepare an- other set of Bid Documents. We have budgeted one review submittal of plans and specifications and one final set of wet-signed plans and specifications.
