OP,1811fAi <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES - <br /> EL CAMINO REAL MEDIANS LANDSCAPING PROdECT <br /> <br /> (SMITH-EMERY COMPANY) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made'and entered into this ~ - "~ , <br />2001, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the <br />State of California, ("City"), and SMITH-EMERY COMPANY of San Francisco, <br />California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br /> WlTNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City requires geotechnical and construction materials testing and <br />inspection services in connection with the El Camino Real Medians Landscaping <br />Project in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />consulting services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform inspection services <br />described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated <br />herein. <br /> <br /> 2.
