To qualify as an "Addendum to an EIR," the document will need to
find (verify) that the revisions incorporated in the current Peninsula Park plan are mitigating
changes and would not result in new significant environmental effects or a substantial increase
in the severity of the significant effects identified in the certified 2003 EIR.
The EIR Addendum will include all changes or additions to the City-certified 2003 EIR
necessary to provide the required CEQA documentation for the current redesigned Peninsula
Park plan and all associated City and state approvals, including rezoning of the 33.24-acre
Peninsula Marina property to incorporate the revised Precise Plan, possible Development
Agreement, design review, subdivision map review and approval, and all other local and state
approvals, entitlements, and permits that may be required for development of the project.
The EIR Addendum will be prepared as a "stand-alone" document; all key findings from the
2003 EIR will be summarized in the Addendum.
C:IDocuments and Settingslkmateollocal SettingslTemporary Internet FilesI0602 proposal section 1-rev.doc
