LREPORT oo,,..,, <br /> From the City Manager <br /> <br />October 14, 2002 <br /> <br />Subject <br />Approval and Authorization to Execute Agreement between San Mateo County Human <br />Services Agency Office of Housing and City of Redwood City Fair Oaks Community Center <br />to provide emergency/direct services and information/referrals for Fiscal Year 2002-2003. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />Approve and authorize the City Manager to sign the agreement. <br /> <br />Background <br />Fair Oaks Community Center has an annual contract with the San Mateo County Human <br />Services Agency (HSA) Office of Housing to provide information and referral, needs <br />assessments, crisis intervention, short-term emergency assistance, forms and translation <br />assistance, housing assistance, and advocacy to Iow-income residents of Redwood City, <br />North Fair Oaks, Woodside, Atherton, and Portola Valley. <br /> <br />The agreement is for services for Fiscal Year 2002-2003. <br /> <br />Alternative <br />Council could choose not to sign the agreement - and not accept funding from San Mateo <br />County Human Services Agency for the Fair Oaks Community Center program. <br /> <br />Fiscal Impact <br />The Fiscal Year 2002-2003 contract is for a total of $60,689.
