iREPORT To the Honorable Mayor and ,ty Council <br /> <br /> From the City Manager <br /> <br />October 14, 2002 <br /> <br />Subject <br />Final Acceptance of the Mezes and Dolphin Parks Tennis Court Resurfacing Project <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />Accept the Mezes and Dolphin Parks Tennis Court Resurfacing Project as completed by <br />First Serve Productions and release payment of $14,000 as payment in full. <br /> <br />Background <br />On July 1,2002, an award of bid was made to the firm of First Serve Productions in the <br />amount of $15,300 to resurface the tennis courts at Mezes and Dolphin parks. The project <br />has been completed in accordance with the plans for this work. A deductive change order <br />was issued in the amount of $1,300 for the replacement of the tennis courts nets and posts <br />from the project as the work ultimately was not required. <br /> <br />Alternative <br />There is no alternative to the action being requested at this time. <br /> <br />Fiscal Impact <br />Sufficient funding has been encumbered and are available in the Parking Lot Resurfacing <br />Program CIP Account (357-72154) to provide for this expense. <br /> <br />Gary Hover ~,_~, Corinne Centeno Ed <br />Rarks and Facilities Director, Parks, Recreation and City Manager <br />Superintendent Community Services <br /> <br /> <br />
