REPORT <br /> To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br /> From the City Manager <br /> <br />October 14, 2002 <br /> <br />Subject <br />Claim(s) 2056A 2056B <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />Staff recommends the rejection of the following claim(s): <br /> <br />2056A Rebecca Agostini Alleging injury from a trip and fall accident on Maple <br /> Street at the pedestrian crosswalk near Veterans and <br /> Marshall. <br /> <br />2056B Permanente Group / Claim filed by Kaiser Permanente Medical Group (Ms. <br /> Athens Agostini's employer) because Ms. Agostini (see claim no. <br /> 2056A) has also filed a worker's compensation claim <br /> against Kaiser for this same incident. Under this claim, <br /> Kaiser is seeking reimbursement from the City for any <br /> costs it may incur in resolving this claim with Ms. <br /> Agostini. <br /> <br />Brian J. Pdnty Edward P.
