The additional tasks that were requested are described below. <br /> <br />A. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />1. TASK ONE - Design Studies <br /> <br />For the following areas, research and propose modified design treatments, materials, <br />a nd costs. <br /> <br />a. 2-5 Year Play Area (Tot Lot): Study alternative methods and materials to allow a <br />design change to place all proposed features on top of the existing concrete paving, <br />rather than remove the paving and subgrade material. <br /> <br />b. Pedestrian Entry/Police Circulation from Hilton Street: Relocate proposed police <br />circulation entry point from parking lot to combine it with the pedestrian entry feature. <br />Modify width as required for vehicle access and turning movements. Widen the entry <br />monument trellis structures. <br /> <br />c. Police Circulation South of Pool Buildinq: Move existing fencing at School District <br />property, reconfigure proposed police circulation farther to south. <br /> <br />d. Entry to Boys & Girls Club: Modify proposed design to remove the existing ramp/wall <br />and all stairs, relocating the new ramp adjacent to the building. <br /> <br />e. Basketball Court Area: Modify design to reuse portion of back wall of existing <br />handball court as a capped seat wall/retaining wall. Add planting and irrigation along <br />northeast side of Boys & Girls Club building. <br /> <br />f. Submit documents to City staff for review and comment. Meet for discussion <br />following review. Any revisions requested will go into the contract documents. <br /> <br />Oeliverables: Written description, schematic plans, catalog cut sheets and preliminary <br />cost estimates. <br />
