When so designated such <br />representatives shall have the same powers and duties <br />as the Building Inspector. <br /> <br />"'All references in this Code to the "Health Officer" <br />shall be construed to be references to representatives <br />of the above mentioned Department of Health and Welfare.' <br /> <br />"Section 9.63 <br /> <br />Chapters 11, 12 and 13 of the Housing Code <br /> <br />are hereby deleted and shall have no force or effect in the City. <br /> <br />"Article X. SEISMIC REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />Division I General <br /> <br />"Section 9.120 <br /> <br />The provisions of this article shall be <br /> <br />in addition to all other provisions of the Building Code insofar <br /> <br />as the same relate to lot grading, soils design, foundation design, <br /> <br />construction desiqn, structural design, and other engineering design, <br /> <br />with respect to the areas of Redwood City referred to in Divisions <br /> <br />II and III hereinbelow, respectively. Such provisions are not <br /> <br />intended to prevent the use of any engineering design not referred <br /> <br />to herein, provided any such alternate has been approved by the <br /> <br />Building Official.
