<br />DES:lt:9/l8/73 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />ltrl'13 <br /> <br />QRD.!.NANCE No.]!)R!) <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 5.5 TO ORDINANCE NO. 1556, <br />ESTABLISHING SALARY FOR POSITION OF ACTING CITY CLERK <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 5.5 is hereby added to Ordinance No. 1556, <br /> <br />entitled "Ordinance Establishing Salaries for Certain Designated <br /> <br />Employees of the City of Redwood City~ Repealing Sections II, 12, <br /> <br />13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 of Ordinance No. 1519," adopted February 5, <br /> <br />1973, and amended thereafter, to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 5.5. The person appointed to the position <br /> <br />of Acting City Clerk shall receive a monthly salary within <br /> <br />a monthly salary range of $1,039 to $1,419. <br /> <br />"The monthly salary rate for the officer appointed to <br /> <br />said position shall be established and may be adjusted <br />within the foregoing designated salary range by motion of <br /> <br />the City Council duly made and carried." <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Any and all ordinances, or parts thereof, in <br /> <br />conflict with the provisions hereof are hereby repealed to the <br /> <br />extent of such conflict only. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be effective 30 days after <br /> <br />its adoption, provided, however, the provisions hereof shall be <br /> <br />operative retroactively to and including October 15, 1973. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
