DES :ef:8/24/73 ORIGINAL SEl' 1'1 ']3 o R DIN A N C E --------- N o. /5"79 ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 2.27.2 AND 2.27.5 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO RATES OF REIMBURSEMENT AND ACCOUNTING FOR REIMBURSEMENT, RESPECTIVELY, OF CERTAIN EXPENSES INCURRED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF DUTIES THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 2.27.2 of the Code of the City of Redwood city is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 2.27.2 Advance for, or reimbursement of expenses of a member of the Council necessarily and pro- perly to be incurred or incurred in the performance of official duties shall be made at the following rates: (a) (1) For each day during which the use of overnight living accomodations is required, the actual cost of such accomodations plus a per diem allow- ance in the amount of Thirty-five Dollars ($35.00) per day for living expenses exclusive of the actual cost of such accomodations. (2) For each day during which the use of overnight living accomodations is not required, actual living ex- penses (including, but not neces- sarily limited to, meals, transpor- tation at destination, incidentals, and actual living expenses incurred in travel to and from destination but excluding registration fees and the transportation expenses provided for in subsection (b) hereof). (b) Actual transportation expenses to and from destination not to exceed a maximum computed at 139 per mile for miles actually traveled outside the City by carrier service or any privately-owned conveyance~ provide~ however, that for travel to and from destination in excess of 300 miles said maximum shall not exceed actual air coach fare when such fare is less than the amount computed at the aforesaid rate." SECTION 2. Section 2.27.5 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows:
