The provisions of the foregoing s~ctions of this <br />ordinance to the ~ontrary notwithstanding, if a po~:ition allocated <br />to a given class in the competitive service is r~allocated to a <br />different class in order to correct an error or~to provide for a <br />change in duti~s or responsibilities of such position, and there <br />is no change in the incumbent of the position so r~allocated, and <br />the maximum salary provided for the position as re,'~llocated is less <br />than the salary received by the incumbent prior to reallocation, <br />then said incumbent shall continue to be compensated at the rate <br />paid said incumbent prior to such allocation. <br />SECTION 6. Ordinance No. l5l9, adopted January 10, 1972, <br />entitled IIAn Ordinance Establishing Salaries for F;mployees of the <br />city of Redwood city; and, Repealing Ordinance NO~ 1483,11 :1.s he:reby <br />repealed, effective January 1, 1973. <br />SECTION 7.
