<br />..e. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. For the positions filled by Council appointment, <br /> <br />monthly salary rates and/or monthly salary ranges are hereby <br /> <br />established as hereinafter set forth: <br /> <br />(a) The City Clerk shall receive a monthly salary of <br />I <br />One Thousand Two Hundred Eighteen Dollars ($1,218) within <br /> <br />a monthly salary range of $l,039 to $1,419. <br /> <br />(b) The City Treasurer-Collector shall receive a monthly <br /> <br />salary of One Thousand Two Hundred Eighteen Dollars ($1,218) <br /> <br />within a monthly salary range of $1,039 to $1,419. <br />(c) The City Controller (holding consolidated offices of <br />City Auditor and City Assessor) shall receive a monthly <br />salary of One Thousand Eight Hundred Eleven Dollars ($1,811) <br /> <br />'within a monthly salary range of $1,561 to $2,133. <br /> <br />(d) The City Attorney shall receive a monthly salary of <br />One Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy-four Dollars ($l,974) <br /> <br />~ithin a ~G~~~ly ~~l~~. ~u~gc of -~l,71G ~o ~2,J37. <br /> <br />(e) The City Manager shall receive a monthly salary of <br /> <br />Two Thousand Four Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($2,475). <br /> <br />SECTION 6. The provisions of the foregoing sections of <br /> <br />this ordinance to the contrary notwithstanding, if a position <br /> <br />allocated to a given class in the competitive service is reallocated <br /> <br />to a different class in order to correct an error or to provide <br /> <br />for a change in duties or responsibilities of such position, and <br /> <br />there is no change in the incumbent of the position so reallocated, <br /> <br />and the maximum salary provided for the position as reallocated <br /> <br />is less than the salary received by the incumbent prior to re- <br />allocation, then said incumbent shall continue to be compensated <br /> <br />at the rate paid said incumbent prior to such allocation. <br /> <br />- 3 - <br />
