<br />to a given class in the competitive service is reallocated to a <br /> <br /> <br />different class in order to correct an error or to provide for a <br /> <br /> <br />change in duties or responsibilities of such position, and there <br /> <br /> <br />is no change in the incumbent of the position so reallocated, and <br /> <br /> <br />the maximum salary provided for the position as reallocated is less <br /> <br /> <br />than the salary received by the incumbent prior to reallocation, <br /> <br /> <br />then said incumbent shall continue to be compensated at the rate <br /> <br />paid said incumbent prior to such allocation. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 5. Any and all ordinances, or parts thereof, in con- <br /> <br /> <br />flict with the provisions hereof are hereby repealed to the extent <br /> <br /> <br />of such conflict only. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 6.
