Section 33.32 of the Code of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 33.32. It shall be unlawful for the <br /> <br />owner or driver of any taxicab in the City to fix, <br /> <br />charge or collect for service a rate more or less <br /> <br />than the following: <br /> <br />1. For the first one-seventh mile, seventy cents. <br /> <br />2. For each additional one-seventh mile, ten cents. <br /> <br />3. When carrying passengers whose point of <br />destination is different, the meter shall be <br />turned back to the 'for hire' position each <br />time a passenger is discharged and a fare <br />collected. <br /> <br />4. For each piece of luggage in excess of two <br />average size traveling bags, or their equivalent <br />in size, ten cents. <br /> <br />5. For waiting time, eight dollars per hour: <br />provided, however, that charges for waiting <br />time of less than one hour shall be reduced <br />proportionately. <br /> <br />6. Scrip may be issued at a discount of ten per <br />cent upon sale of each five dollars of scrip <br />tickets as a unit." <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
