<br />DES:yc:6/16/72 <br /> <br />ORtG' n.j ~l \ <br />,hh- <br /> <br />o R DIN A N C E <br />--------- <br /> <br />N o. 15.9$ <br /> <br />11\ 26 '1, <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 2.36, 2.41.1, AND 32.8 <br />OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO <br />THE DESIGNATION AND PURPOSES OF CERTAIN FUNDS THEREIN <br />SPECIFIED, REPEALING SECTION 2.41.2 OF SAID CODE <br />RELATING TO THE SALES TAX CAPITAL EXPENDITURE FUND, <br />AND PROVIDING FOR THE DISPOSITION OF UNEXPENDED <br />UNENCUMBERED MONIES IN SAID FUNDS <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. (a) Section 2.36 of the Code of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 2.36 <br /> <br />A special fund to be known as the <br /> <br />"Equipment Service Fund" is hereby established. All <br /> <br />monies allocated to such fund shall be appropriated or <br /> <br />expended for the operation and maintenance of equipment <br /> <br />owned by the city of Redwood City, the replacement of worn <br /> <br />out or out-moded equipment of said City, or the acquisition <br /> <br />of new equipment for said City. As used herein, the term <br /> <br />"equipment" shall include, but not be limited to, vehicles <br /> <br />of all kinds, heavy duty equipment or machinery, water craft, <br /> <br />construction equipment, office equipment and machines, <br /> <br />electrical and electronic machines and devices, fixtures, <br /> <br />furnishings, furniture, and other capital items of similar <br /> <br />or like character. <br /> <br />"All amounts paid from the Equipment Service Fund for <br /> <br />the purposes hereinabove stated shall be reimbursed to said <br /> <br />fund by the particular account, fund, or activity benefited <br /> <br />by such payment. Such reimbursement shall be made at such <br /> <br />tim~ and during such periods, as funds are available there- <br /> <br />for in such particular account, fund, or activity so benefited." <br /> <br />(b) All unexpended unencumbered monies remaining in the <br /> <br />Equipment Replacement Fund upon the effective date of this ordinance, <br /> <br />the disposition of which is not otherwise provided for, are <br />
