<br />DES.ek 5/8/72 <br />ORIGiNAL <br /> <br />-l~ "1z <br /> <br />ORDl,NANcE <br /> <br />N O. /5'3z..-. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3.79 OF THE CODE OF <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO EXEMPTIONS <br />FROM SIGN ORDINANCE <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 3.79 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"SEcTION 3.79 <br /> <br />The provisions of this article <br /> <br />shall have no application to the following: <br />"(a) Signs erected or installed by or at the <br /> <br />direction of the City. <br /> <br />II (b) Signs erected or installed on property in <br /> <br />which the City owns an interest and which are allowed <br /> <br />by revocable permit issued at the discretion of the <br /> <br />City Council. <br /> <br />II (c) Traffic signs, legal notices, railroad <br /> <br />warning signs, signs showing the location of underground <br /> <br />public utility facilities and other signs of a non- <br /> <br />advertising nature erected for warning or emergency <br /> <br />purposes. II <br /> <br />SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be effective 30 days <br /> <br />after its adoption: provided, however, the provisions hereof <br /> <br />shall be operative retroactively to and including its date <br /> <br />of introduction. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
