<br />DES:yc:ll/17/71 <br /> <br />ORIGI NAl <br />Iltns '11 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE <br />--------- <br /> <br />N o. /513 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20.97 OF, AND ADDING SECTIONS <br />20.97.1-5, 20.97.1-7, AND 20.97.6 TO DIVISION I, ARTICLE <br />VII, CHAPTER 20, OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />ESTABLISHING NO PARKING ZONES ON PORTIONS OF NORMAN, <br />OXFORD, AND REGENT STREETS IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. section 20.97 of Division I, Article VII, <br /> <br />Chapter 20, of the Code of the city of Redwood city, is hereby <br /> <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"section 20.97 <br /> <br />When signs are erected giving notice <br /> <br />thereof, no person shall park a vehicle during the times <br /> <br />indicated on such signs upon any of the streets specified <br /> <br />in sections 20.97.1 through 20.97.6, inclusive. The <br /> <br />provisions of this section shall not be applicable on <br /> <br />saturdays, sundays or holidays except as otherwise provided." <br /> <br />SECTION 2. section 20.97.1-5 is hereby added to Division 1, <br /> <br />Article VII, Chapter 20, of the code of the city of Redwood city, <br /> <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br />"section 20.97.1-5 <br /> <br />"Norman street: East side, from Redwood Avenue to <br /> <br />its southerly terminus--Parking prohibited at all times, <br /> <br />including saturdays, sundays and holidays." <br /> <br />SECTION 3. section 20.97.1-7 is hereby added to Division 1, <br /> <br />Article VII, Chapter 20, of the Code of the city of Redwood city, <br /> <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br />"section 20.97.1-7 <br /> <br />"oxford street: West side, from Redwood Avenue to a <br /> <br />point 420 feet southerly from Redwood Avenue--parking <br /> <br />prohibited at all times, including saturdays, sundays and <br /> <br />holidays ." <br /> <br />r <br />
