ORIGINAL- <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> PROFESSIONAL DESIGN SERVICES <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~/.~-'day of <br />"_~O(~z,4...]~., 2000, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City"), and JOHN CAHALAN <br />LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS of Burlingame, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City requires the preparation of construction documents for <br /> median landscape improvements at the intersections of Main/Maple, <br /> Maple/Middlefield and Broadway/Hopkins in the City of Redwood City (the <br /> "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br /> design services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and <br /> is qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall prepare construction <br /> documents and perform design services described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached <br /> hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT.
