EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br /> dscape Architecture <br /> ~n Planning & Design <br /> ~t 13 ~000 ironmental Planning <br /> <br /> Scope of Servic~ s f~r?ITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> / <br /> ~:%rGINEERING & CONSTRUCT!ON ~ <br /> MEDIAN LANDSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS <br /> (Intersections at Main, Maple & Middlefield and Broadway & Hopkins Ave,) <br /> Redwood City, CA <br /> <br /> Revised: October 11, 2000 <br /> <br /> 1.0 PRELIMINARY DESIGN <br /> <br /> Not a part of this proposal. <br /> <br /> 2.0 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS & SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br /> 2.01 Pre-Design Meeting: Meet with City PRC to rewew and discuss the project's scope, <br /> schedule and specific design objectives. <br /> <br /> 2.02 Topographic Surveys & Mapping: Prepare a detailed design level topographic survey <br /> for each of the project areas. The surveys will be prepared in AutoCAD and will be <br /> suitable for use as base sheets for design of future improvements. The final topographic <br /> surveys will depict surface features throughout the project areas, including street <br /> frontages. Spot elevations, contours, striping, curbs, walks, 1' curb inlets, and existing <br /> surface utilities, with rim and invert elevations (for storm drain only) shall also be shown <br /> throughout the project areas. <br /> <br /> 2.03 Site Reconnaissance/Base Sheet: Conduct an evaluation of the sites including views <br /> to and from the sites, traffic and pedestrian circulation patterns and existing site features <br /> including landscaping, utilities, and topography. Photograph both sites for "in-house" <br /> reference and presentation purposes. Prepare base sheet from background information <br /> and topographic survey provided by City and the consulting engineer. <br /> <br /> 2.04 Meetings: See allowance under reimbursable expenses. <br /> <br /> 2.05 Cost Estimates: Prepare a detailed estimate of probable construction costs of the <br /> aforementioned improvements for each site.
