Scope of Services <br />Medians Landscape Improvements, Redwood City <br />Revised: October 11, 2000 <br />Page 4 of 4 <br /> <br />SERVICE EXCLUSIONS: <br /> <br />The following tasks are considered to be outside the scope of services of this proposal but may <br />be provided by the Consultant as an additional service to the City of Redwood City as requested <br />and approved by the City of Redwood City: <br /> <br />· Civil Engineering services beyond what is described under 2.02 and 2,07. <br /> <br />· Electrical Engineering services beyond what is described under the allowance for <br /> Reimbursable Expenses for Broadway & Hopkins. <br /> <br />· Structural Engineering services. <br /> <br />· Preliminary Design including color plan renderings, sections, elevations and perspectives. <br /> <br />· Any additional plans, details or renderings required by the ARC or any other review <br /> committee that are not considered a necessary part of the construction document phase of <br /> these services. <br /> <br />· Design services where the estimated construction budget for both projects exceeds <br /> $200,000 as estimated by the consultant. <br /> <br />· Special signage design (sign construction details will be provided however, if specific <br /> direction is provided by the City). <br /> <br />SCHEDULE: <br />Consultant contract finalized and delivered November 20, 2000 <br />Pro-design meeting week of November 27 <br />Topographic surveys and mapping month of December <br />35% plans & specifications submittal January, 2001 <br />ARC presentation and review early February <br />90% plans & specifications submittal late February <br />100% plans & specifications submittal March 15, 2001 <br /> <br /> <br />
