Article II (co~uencing at ~12.7) of Chapter 12 <br /> <br />of the Code of the City of Redwood city is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Article II (co~uenclng at ~12.7) is hereby <br /> <br />added to Chapter 12 of the Code of the city of Redwood city, to <br /> <br />read as follows: <br /> <br />"ARTICLE II <br /> <br />FIRE PREVENTION CODE <br /> <br />"Section 12.7 <br /> <br />(a) Pursuant to section 50022.1, <br /> <br />et seq., of the California Government Code and section 15 <br /> <br />of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, the Uniform <br /> <br />Fire Code, 1967 Edition, compiled by the California Fire <br /> <br />Chiefs Association, Northern Division Fire Prevention <br /> <br />Officers Section, and California Fire Chiefs Association, <br /> <br />Southern Division, Fire Prevention Officers section, is <br /> <br />hereby adopted and shall be in effect wi thin the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City to the same extent as if set out in full herein, <br /> <br />except as expressly amended by the provisions of this article. <br /> <br />II (b) In the event of any conflict between the pro- <br /> <br />visions of the Uniform Fire Code, 1967 Edition, hereinafter <br /> <br />referred to as the 'Fire Code, I and the provisions of this <br /> <br />article, the provisions of this article shall govern. <br /> <br />"section 12.8 <br /> <br />Wherever the following wm~ds appear <br /> <br />in the Fire Code, they shall be held to have the following <br /> <br />meanings: <br />
