Before being covered or placed in use, all <br />tanks and that piping which is in a suction system shall <br />be tested hydrostatically or with air pressure at not <br />less than three pounds per square inch gauge, nor more <br />than five pounds per square inch gauge. Pressure piping <br />shall be tested to 150 per cent of the working pressure <br />or 75 pounds per square inch gauge whichever is greater. <br />Tests shQll be maintained for at least 30 minutes and <br />shall be witnessed by a Fire Inspector. <br />"lb. The pipe system between the pump and dispenser, <br />but not including the pump, tank or thri dispenser, shall <br />be tested hydrostatically for 30 minutes to 150 per cent <br />of the shut-off pressure of the pump or 75 pounds per <br />square inch gauge, \",hichever is greater, to insure <br />tightness. Underground <br />piping shall incorporate swing joints at the points <br />where such piping leaves the dispensi~g l~cation and _ <br />at the point of connection to tank fittings.
