hereby fixed and levied at $1.9674. (b) The total tax for the fiscal year July 1, 1970- June 30, 1971, on property within General Improvement District No. 1-64 shall be established as the combined taxes fixed by Section 4, above, and subsections (h), (i), and (j), of Section 2 above. (c) No tax is levied for the following General Improve- ment Districts: (i) General Improvement District No. 1-65 as said district was established by Resolution No. 4589, adopted March 15, 1965~ (ii) General Improvement District No. 2-65 as said district \vas established by Resolution No. 4591, adopted March 15, 1965~ (iii) General Improvement District No. 3-65 as said district was established by Resolution No. 4593, adopted March 15, 1965. SECTION 6. REPEAL. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are here~y repealed. SECTION 7. SEVERABILITY. If any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance, and the City Council hereby declares that it would have adopted said ordinance and each section, sentence, clause and phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that any ODe or more section, sentence, clause or phrase be declared invalid. SECTION 8. TRANSMI'f'fAL TO COUr\fTY. The city Clerk is hereby directed to transmit certified copies of this ordinance to the Auditor of the County of San Mateo in accordance with Section 51551 of the Government Code and to such other County officials as may find it convenient or necessary to utilize this ordinance. SECTION 9. EFFEcrfrvE nll1EDIAT!~;LY. Except as otherwise pro- vided herein, this ordinance shall take effect and be in force upon its adoption. / * * * -9- r
