<br />DES:em 8/7/70 <br /> <br /> <br />o R DIN A N C E <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />J~~~ <br /> <br />'~~In ?r <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 5.7.1 TO ARTICLE I OF <br />CHAPTER 5 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />RELATING TO PROTECTION OF BIRDS <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 5.7.1 is added to Article I of <br /> <br />Chapter 5 of the Code of the City of Redwood City to read <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />"SECTION 5.7.1 It shall be unlawful for any <br /> <br />person to frighten, wound, kill, take, capture, <br /> <br />ensnare, trap, shoot at, hurl, throw, or otherwise <br /> <br />propel objects at, or in any other manner molest or <br /> <br />injure any robin, lark, sparrow, swallow, crow, mocking <br /> <br />bird, humming bird, or other song bird or insectivorous <br /> <br />bird in, on, or about any public place or building: or <br /> <br />in any manner molest, disturb, injure or destroy the <br /> <br />nest or habitat of any such bird in, on, or about any <br /> <br />public place or building: or in any manner molest, <br /> <br />disturb, injure or destroy the nest eggs or young of <br /> <br />any such bird in, on, or about any public place or <br /> <br />building.
