<br />"In computing the maximum area of signs on any parcel <br /> <br />for purposes of this section, the area of conforming <br /> <br />directional signs, temporary signs, interior signs, tract <br /> <br />or real estate signs or signs described in Section 3.84 <br /> <br />located on the p~rcel shall not be included. <br /> <br />" (b) <br /> <br />Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (a) <br /> <br />hereof, and in lieu of the maximum aggregate area of signs <br /> <br />permitted thereunder, a single free standing sign may be <br /> <br />placed or maintained on any non-residentially zoned parcel <br /> <br />of real property in one ownership having an area of five <br /> <br />acres or more, subject to the following specifications, <br /> <br />conditions, and limitations: <br /> <br />II (1) Area limitations for such signs shall be deter- <br /> <br />mined in accordance with the following table: <br /> <br />Required Minimum Lot <br />Frontage on a Public <br />street (Expressed in <br />Lineal Feet) <br /> <br />Required Minimum <br />Parcel Area (Ex- <br />pressed in Ac~esL <br /> <br />Ratio of Permitted <br />Maximum sign Area <br />(square Feet) for <br />Each Lineal Foot <br />of Lot Frontage <br /> <br />500 - 1000 <br />1001 - 1500 <br />1501 or more <br /> <br />5 <br />10 <br />15 <br /> <br />1:1 <br />1-1/2:1 <br />2:1 (maximum sign <br />area not to exceed <br />4,000 square feet) <br /> <br />II (2) <br /> <br />No sign permit shall be issued for any such sign <br /> <br />except after issuance of an architectural permit therefor <br /> <br />in accordance with the provisions of Article 45 of Ordinance <br /> <br />No. 1130, the zoning Ordinance of the City of Redwood city. <br /> <br />" (3) All such signs sha 11 be constructed of non- <br /> <br />combustible materials irrespective of the fire zone in which <br /> <br />loca ted . <br /> <br />" (4) <br /> <br />No such slgn shall be located within 660 feet of <br /> <br />the outer limits of a main traveled roadway of a freeway or <br /> <br />a public street. <br /> <br />r; <br />-L.- <br /> <br />.,........ <br />
