<br />SECTION 46. The provisions of the foregoing sections of <br /> <br /> <br />this ordinance to the contrary notwithstanding, if a position. <br /> <br /> <br />allocated to a given class in the competitive service is <br /> <br /> <br />reallocated to a different class in order to correct an error <br /> <br /> <br />,or to provide for a change in duties or responsibilities of <br /> <br /> <br />such position, and there is no change in the incumbent of the <br /> <br /> <br />position so reallocated, and the maximum salary provided for <br /> <br /> <br />the position as reallocated is less than the salary received <br /> <br /> <br />by the incumbent prior to reallocation, then said incumbent <br /> <br /> <br />shall continue to be compensated at the rate paid said incumbent <br /> <br /> <br />prior to such reallocation. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 47. Ordinance No. 1382, adopted December 16, 1968, <br /> <br /> <br />entitled "An Ordinance Establishing Salaries for Employees of <br /> <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City; and, Repealing Ordinance No. 1286," <br /> <br /> <br />as amended, is hereby repealed, effective January 1, 1970. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 48.
