the removal of all wood utility poles overhead wires and associated structures from all streets, <br />roads, alleys or ways shall occur within said District is hereby fixed as August 1, 2002. <br /> <br /> SECTION 6. All existing overhead connection and electrical distribution facilities in <br />such distdct shall be removed; each property served from such electric overhead facility shall <br />have installed in accordance with Pacific Gas & Electric Company's rules for underground <br />service, all electrical facility changes on the premises necessary to receive service from the <br />underground facilities of Pacific Gas & Electric Company ("PG&E") as soon as available. <br /> <br /> SECTION 7. PG&E is authorized to disconnect its overhead service 30 days after <br />completion of the installation of underground facilities. <br /> <br /> SECTION 8. Pursuant to Section 11.45(d) of the Code of the City of Redwood City, the <br />date by which all affected property owners must provide for services from underground facilities <br />is fixed as 30 days prior to removal of all overhead utilities, including existing service drops, <br />wood utility poles, overhead wires and associated structures. <br /> <br /> SECTION 9. Pursuant to Section 11.45(e) of the Code of the City of Redwood City, the <br />following facilities may be maintained above-ground: transformers, pedestal-mounted service <br />terminals, above-grade splice boxes, and all existing overhead high power transmissions from <br />St. Francis Street to Valota Road. <br /> <br /> SECTION 10. Pursuant to Section 11.48 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, the <br />utility company which undertakes underground installation of its facilities shall use the <br />underground conversion allocation computed pursuant to decision of the Public Utilities <br />Commission ("PUC") of the State of California for the purpose of providing to each single-family <br />dwelling allocation computed pursuant to decision of the Public Utilities Commission ("PUC") of <br />the State of California for the purpose of providing to each single-family dwelling, Hawes School <br />and City Facilities (Red Morton Community Center and Community Activities Building, in the <br />Underground Utility district individual electric service trenching and conductor to the extent <br /> <br />Ord-120 3 <br />FXS:djk <br />F:$hared/Redwood/Council <br />10/05/00 <br />10/13/00R, 10/18/00R <br />2206 <br /> <br /> <br />
