<br />work, prpvided no changes have been made or will be <br /> <br />made in the original plans and specifications for such <br /> <br />work; and provided, further, that such suspension or <br /> <br />abandonment has not exceeded one year. <br /> <br />"Exceptions. In the event that construction is <br /> <br />not started or is abandoned by reason of strike, lock- <br /> <br />. <br />out, \var, civil commotion, act of God, legal acts of <br /> <br />governmental agencies other than the City of Redwood city, <br /> <br />or similar unusual circumstance or similar hardship beyond <br /> <br />the control of the permittee, the time prescribed for <br /> <br />the starting of work or the time permitted for abando~- <br /> <br />ment may be extended by the Building Official for a <br /> <br />period of 60 days from the date of the expiration of <br /> <br />the peDuit or expiration of the period of abandonment, <br /> <br />and may be further extended for a second period of 60 <br /> <br />days from the date of the expiration of the first <br /> <br />extended period of the permit, or expiration of the <br /> <br />first extended period of abandonment, provided that <br /> <br />the permittee must make written application to the <br /> <br />Building Official for each such first and second <br /> <br />extended period and setting forth detailed justification <br /> <br />for each such extension. <br /> <br />II (e) <br /> <br />Suspension or Revocation. The Building <br /> <br />Official may, in writing, suspend or revoke a permit <br /> <br />issued under provisions of this Code whenever the permit <br /> <br />is issued in error or on the basis of incorrect informa- <br /> <br />tion supplied, or in violation of any ordinance or <br /> <br />regulation or any of the provisions of this Code." <br /> <br />SECl'ION 2.
