<br />DES:yc:8/27/69 <br /> <br />3:1 15 '69 <br /> <br />( <br />.v'" ., <br /> <br />I'I':S- <br /> <br />ORDINANCE <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 26.4 OF THE CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO COMPENSATION OF <br />MEMBERS OF THE RESERVE POLICE CORPS <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. section 26.4 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 26.4 <br /> <br />Except as otherwise provided herein, <br /> <br />no compensation shall be paid for any duty performed by any <br /> <br />member of the reserve police corps established by Section 26.1; <br /> <br />provided, however, that for extraordinary or non-routine duty <br /> <br />assignments as determined by the Chief of Police and approved <br /> <br />by the City Manager compensation may be paid at an hourly <br /> <br />rate in an amount set by the Council; and provided, further, <br /> <br />that each member accepted, registered and appointed by the <br /> <br />Chief of Police as set out in Section 26.2 shall be an <br /> <br />employee of the City for the purpose of obtaining benefits <br /> <br />under the workmen's compensation contract of the City with <br /> <br />the state Compensation Insurance Fund." <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
