"All sales accompanied by notices or advertising indicating that the premises are available for purchase or lease or are otherwise to be vacated: and, "All sales accompanied by advertising indicating a business emergency or failure affecting the seller or any previous holder of the goods to be disposed of and all sales advertised to be auction sale or advertised by any other expression or characterization closely similar to that phrase and calculated to convey the same meaning." , SECTION 3. Section 6.25 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 6.25 The Manager shall attach such conditions to each permit issued for a sale or special sale as in his opinion will, under the circumstances, serve to prevent deception and to protect the public." SECTION 4. Division 2 of Article II of Chapter 6 (commencing with section 6.28) of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby added to said Code to read as follows: " DIVISION 2. PERMITS "Section 6.28 It shall be unlawful for any person to publish or conduct any sale without a permit issued pursuant to the provisions of this article, or in violation of any of the conditions of such permit, or the provisions of this article, or after revocation of a permit. "Section 6.29 No permit to conduct a sale shall be granted except upon written application to the Manager, signed and verified before a person authorized to administer oaths, by the p~rson who intends to conduct such sale, and each application shall set forth and contain the following information: " (a) Description by street location, and kind of building on the location at which such sale is to be held~ -3-
