<br />Council of the City of Redwood city Giving Notice of, and <br /> <br />Declaring its Intention to, Initiate on its own Motion <br /> <br />Proceedings to Annex to said City Certain Uninrlabi ted <br /> <br />'I'erri tory; Describing said Terri tory and Designating it <br /> <br />by the Name · <br /> <br />EDGE\'lOOD ROAD ANNEXATION NO. 1 <br /> <br />'; Giving its Reasons for Desiring <br /> <br />said Annexation; Making Certain Findings Respecting said <br /> <br />Proceedings; and Giving Notice of the Time and Place said <br /> <br />Council will Hear Protests to said Annexation," wherein <br /> <br />it gave notice of said proposed annexation, described said <br /> <br />territory and designated it by the above mentioned name, <br /> <br />made certain findings respecting said proposal and gave <br /> <br />notice of the time and place said Council would hear pro- <br /> <br />tests thereto; and <br /> <br />(3) That less than twelve registered voters resided <br /> <br />within said territory at the time the above mentioned <br /> <br />resolution was adopted by this Council; and <br /> <br />(4) That the City Clerk has caused a copy of said Reso- <br /> <br />lution No. 5846 <br /> <br />to be published in the manner and within <br /> <br />the time required by law, and has also caused written notice <br /> <br />. <br />of such proposed annexation to be mailed to all persons or <br /> <br />bodies to whom such notice is required by law to be given; <br /> <br />all in the manner and time required by law; and <br />(5) That this Council did in said Resolution No. <br /> <br />5846 <br /> <br />set and designate January 13 <br /> <br />, 19~, at the hour of 7:30 <br /> <br />p.m., in the Board of Supervisors. Chambers, Hall of Justice <br /> <br /> <br />and Records, Redwood City, San Mateo County, California, as <br /> <br /> <br />the day, hour, and place when and where said Council would <br /> <br /> <br />hear protests against said annexation; and <br /> <br />- 2 - <br />
