<br />60 days from the date of issuance of such permit, <br />or if the work authorized by such permit is <br />suspended or abandoned at any time after the <br />work is commenced for a period of 60 days. Before <br />such work may be recommended a new permit shall <br />be first obtained to do -so. <br /> <br />"Section 9.87 <br /> <br />Section 1.10 of the Plumbing Code is <br /> <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 1.10 (a) No permit shall be issued to <br />any person to do or cause to be done any plumbing <br />or drainage work regulated by this Code, except <br />to a person holding a valid unexpired and unrevoked <br />plumbing contractor's license issued by the State <br />of California, except when and as otherwise here- <br />inafter provided in this section. <br /> <br />"(b) No permit shall be issued to any person to <br />do or cause to be done any sewer or private sewage <br />'disposal system work regulated by this Code, <br />except to a person holding a valid unexpired and <br />unrevoked sewer and sewage disposal contractor's <br />license issued by the State of California, except <br />when and as othen~ise hereinafter provided in <br />this section. <br /> <br />" (c) Any pe rmit required by this Code may be <br />issued to any person to do any plumbing or drain- <br />age work regulated by this Code in a single <br />family dwelling used exclusively for living purposes, <br />including the usual accessory buildings and quarters <br />in connection with such buildings in the event that <br />any such person is the bona fide owner of any such <br />dwelling and accessory buildings and quarters, <br />and that the same are occupied by or designed to <br />be occupied by said owner, provided, that said <br />owner shall personally purchase all material and <br />shall personally perform all labor in connection <br />therewith. <br /> <br />"Section 9.88 <br /> <br />section 1.15 is added to the Plumbing <br /> <br />Code to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 1.15 In addition to the fees established <br />by Section 1.12, the following fee schedule shall <br />be applicable in the City of Redwood City: <br /> <br />"For issuing each home owner permit . <br /> <br />. $ 3 .00 <br /> <br />"For each swimming pool <br /> <br />"Private . . <br /> <br />. $ 5 . 00 <br />. .$10.00 <br /> <br />" Public <br /> <br />.-:21- <br />
