Section 32.152 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />city is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"SECTION 32.152. Every person conducting, managing <br /> <br />or carrying on any business hereinafter in this section <br /> <br />mentioned, shall pay a license tax in the amount as set <br /> <br />forth herein: <br /> <br />"(a) Every person conducting, managing, carrying on <br /> <br />or maintaining any bowling, skee baIlor bat ball alley, <br /> <br />shuffleboard, pinball <br /> <br />machine or any other stmilar device, <br />. . . I h d . <br />entertalnment requlrlng t e eposlt <br /> <br />equipment or means of <br /> <br />of a coin, slug, or other device shall pay an annual license <br /> <br />tax of $20 for the first alley, machine or device, plus $5 <br /> <br />for each additional alley, machine or device. <br /> <br />"(b) Every person carrying on the business of a pool <br /> <br />hall or billiard parlor shall pay an annual license tax of <br /> <br />$20 for the first pool or billiard table, plus $5 for each <br /> <br />additional table. <br /> <br />"(c) Every person conducting, managing, or carrying <br /> <br />on the business of an ice or roller skating rink shall pay <br /> <br />an annual license tax of $40; provided that this license <br /> <br />tax shall not apply to any exhibition given in any restaurant, <br /> <br />cafe, hotel or theater, when the public is not permitted to <br /> <br />participate in such exhibition. <br /> <br />"(d) Every person engaged in the business of, conduct- <br /> <br />ing, managing, distributing, leasing, maintaining or operating <br /> <br />any coin-operated mechanical amusement devices or machines, <br /> <br />including juke boxes, within the city of Redwood City, not <br /> <br />otherwise licensed hereunder, shall pay an annual license <br />
