<br />DES:lm:8/7/68 <br /> <br />!\lJb<;;ti fa <br /> <br />ORD.!.NANCE <br /> <br />NO.~ <br /> <br />ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 13.5.1 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO MILK AND MILK PRODUCTS <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 13.5.1 is hereby added to the Code of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City, to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 13.5.1. All market milk and milk products <br /> <br />(as those terms are defined in Chapter 1, Part 1, Division <br /> <br />15 of the California Agricultural Code) sold, offered for <br /> <br />sale, exposed for sale, held in possession for sale, <br /> <br />exchanged, traded, distributed or bartered in or from a <br /> <br />food establishment must conform to the standards and <br /> <br />requirements of Subchapter 1 of Chapter 2, Title 3 of the <br /> <br />california Administrative Code and Division 15 of the <br /> <br />California Agricultural Code, and, in addition, said <br /> <br />market milk and milk products must be pasteurized (as <br /> <br />that term is defined in Chapter 1, Part 1, Division 15 <br /> <br />of the California Agricultural Code). It shall be unlaw- <br /> <br />ful to sell, offer for sale, expose for sale, hold in <br /> <br />possession for sale, exchange, trade, distribute or barter <br /> <br />in or from a food establishment market milk or milk products <br /> <br />not in conformance with the standards and requirements of <br /> <br />this section. Violations of this section shall constitute a <br /> <br />misdemeanor, and prosecution therefor may be in addition to, <br /> <br />and cumulative with, all other remedies provided by law." <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
