<br />DES:lm:7/22/68 <br /> <br />ORD.!.NANCE <br /> <br />N O. --'.,fJ , /) <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING FINAL BUDGET OF CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />FOR FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1968-JUNE 30, 1969, TO INCLUDE <br />ANTICIPATED REVENUES FROM DO\~TO~~ PARKING AND BUSINESS <br />IMPROVEMENT AREA NO.1; AND, APPROPRIATING SAME FOR <br />DESIGNATED PURPOSES <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The annual budget of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />for the fiscal year July 1, 1968-June 30, 1969, approved by the <br />Council of the City of Redwood City by Ordinance No. 1365 and <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, entitled <br /> <br />"City of Redwood city, 1968-69 Budget" is hereby amended as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />(a) Anticipated revenues shall be increased to include <br />the sum of $15,000 to be collected and received <br />pursuant to Ordinance No. 1359, being an additional <br />levy of business license taxes within the Downtown <br />Parking and Business Improvement Area No.1. <br /> <br />(b) Said sum of $15,000 shall become and thereafter be <br />appropriated for the following uses and purposes, <br />for the sole and exclusive benefit of the Downtown <br />parking and Business Improvement Area No.1, in <br />accordance with the provi?ions of Ordinance No. 1359: <br /> <br />(1) Decoration of any public place in the area; <br /> <br />(2) Promotion of public events which are to take <br />place on or in public places in the area~ <br /> <br />(3) Furnishing of music in any public place in the <br />area; <br /> <br />(4) The general promotion of retail trade activities <br />in the area. <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
