~-- 0 R I G I N A L -- 6/12/00 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1130. 2193 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE ADDING SECTIONS 27.4 AND 27.5 TO <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1130, AS AMENDED, THE ZONING <br /> ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO <br /> AMORTIZATION OF NONCONFORMING ADULT ORIENTED <br /> BUSINESS USES AND EXTENSION OF TIME FOR <br /> TERMINATION OF SUCH NONCONFORMING USES, <br /> RESPECTIVELY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 11, 1998 this Council adopted Ordinance No. <br />1130.298 entitled, "Ordinance Adding Article 27 to Ordinance No. 1130, the <br />Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, Relating to Sexually Oriented Businesses"; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1 of said Ordinance set forth findings supporting the <br />regulations established pursuant thereto; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said findings are hereby incorporated herein by reference; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13467, adopted June 6, 1999, <br /> <br />this Council initiated proceedings to add Sections 27.4 and 27.5 to Article 27 of <br />Ordinance No. 1130, as amended, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Redwood <br />City ("Zoning Ordinance") relating to the amortization of nonconforming adult <br />oriented business uses and the extension of time for termination of such <br />nonconforming uses, respectively; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing on the <br />question of adding said sections to the Zoning Ordinance and submitted its <br /> <br />ABOamo~tord 1 <br />G:~shared\redwood~council <br />DES:djk <br />05/22/00r <br /> <br /> <br />
