4/24/00 <br /> 18.247.8 "Dwelling Unit...~aivalent" (DUE) means the fundan._ ~al measure used in <br /> <br /> the calculation of the cost per PM Peak Hour trip. One DUE is equal to <br /> one PM Peak Hour vehicle trip. <br /> <br /> 18.247.9 "Expansion" means, in relation to the capacity of a road or intersection of <br /> roads or of a bridge, to accommodate traffic, extensions, widening, <br /> reconfiguration, improvements to or for signalization, rerouting, <br /> reconstruction of existing facilities, and construction of new facilities. <br /> <br /> 18.247.10"Fee Payer" is a person undertaking a Development which generates <br /> traffic and which requires the issuance of a building permit, or any other <br /> entitlement. <br /> <br /> 18.247.11"Floor Area" means the total floor area of all stories of a building or <br /> structure, including basements, and all aboveground stories for various <br /> types of land use as used in the determination of traffic generation in the <br /> "Trip Generation Manual," published by the Institute of Transportation <br /> Engineers (latest edition). <br /> <br /> 18.247.12 "Guest Room means a room designed for overnight accommodations that <br /> is not a Dwelling Unit, including, without limitation, hotel rooms, motel <br /> rooms, convalescent hospital rooms, and dormitory rooms. <br /> <br /> 18247.13 "Impact Fee or Fees" means the fee or fees imposed on a Development <br /> pursuant to this Article, the revenues from which shall be used to fund a <br /> proportionate share of the cost of transportation improvement projects and <br /> <br />StYCouncil/Ord ~ <br />Ord-105 <br />FXS/ss <br />03/28/00 <br />DES:rg:04/13/OOR; 04/17/OOR <br /> <br /> Zl91 <br /> <br /> <br />
