- 4/10/00 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2190 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 14.32 TO CHAPTER 14, <br /> ARTICLE III, DIVISION 2 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO LIMITATION UPON CLAIMS <br /> FOR REFUNDS OF CHARGES FOR COLLECTION AND <br /> DISPOSAL OF REFUSE AND RECYCLABLE MATERIALS <br /> <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Section 14.32 is hereby added to the Code of the City of <br />Redwood City to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 14.32. Refunds. Whenever the amount of any fee, service <br /> · charge, interest, or penalty has been overpaid or paid more than once or <br /> has been erroneously collected or received by or for the City under this <br /> Article, said amount so collected or received may be refunded; provided, <br /> that a wrJtten claim therefor is filed with the Director of Finance within <br /> three (3) years from the date of such payment. The cJaim shall be made <br /> on forms furnished and approved by the Director of Finance." <br /> <br /> Section 2.
