<br />EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />Scope of work includes schematic design and construction documents for the following: <br />. Restoration and relocation of water tower with windmill pump to Union Cemetery. <br />. Design new base support building based on photographs of original. <br /> <br />INTENT AND EXTENT OF BASIC SERVICES <br /> <br />PHASE ONE & TWO <br /> <br />1.1 EC Existing Conditions: The Kastrop Group, Inc. will provide a site visit to verify measurements of <br />the existing building and photograph to document areas of work. Using these measurements, our staff will <br />draw the existing floor plan in CAD. Estimate: $500 <br /> <br />1.2 SD Schematic Design: The Kastrop Group, Inc. will meet with the Client to review the design <br />parameters and goals. We will develop up to two preliminary designs. These preliminary designs <br />consisting of hand-drawn sketches of floor plans and elevations will be presented for the Client's review <br />and approval. Tasks include: <br /> <br />. Hold one design meeting with the City's design team and end-user. <br /> <br />. Verify design goals and tasks. <br /> <br />. Design up to two solutions for restoration of water tower. <br /> <br />. Review building upgrades and remodeling required by code. <br /> <br />Estimate: <br /> <br />$2,000 <br /> <br />2.1 CD Construction Documents: Using the approved design, The Kastrop Group, Inc. will proceed to <br />produce construction documents as required to obtain a building permit and get final bids. <br />Estimate: $2,700 <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL COSTS: Eight person-hour(s) are budgeted for meetings with the City. If additional <br />meetings are required, they will be billed on an hourly basis according to current rates. Consultants are <br />not included in this contract. When professional consulting becomes necessary to the project, the Client <br />will be notified for approval, and consultant fees will be billed as a reimbursable charge. <br /> <br />FEE ARRANGEMENT: Compensation shall be on an hourly basis according to current rates listed on the <br />attached EXHIBIT "B", plus reimbursables for each phase described above.
