I~I./I <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE A1-1ENDING SECTION 23.2 OF, AND REPEALING <br />SECTION 23.3 OF, THE CODE OF THE CITY OF RED0100D CITY <br />l~ELATING TO THE PERSONNEL SYSTEM OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF RED.lOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN J.~S FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 23.2 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"SECTION 23.2. SCOPE OF CHAPTER <br /> <br />The provisions of this chapter shall apply to <br />all offices, positions and employments in the service <br />of the city, except the following: <br /> <br />(a) Elective offices or positions. <br /> <br />(b) Positions on appointive boards, commissions and <br />committees. <br /> <br />(c) The positions of: <br /> <br />City Manager <br />Assistant City Manager <br />Administrative Assistant <br />Personnel Administrator <br />Secretary to the City Manager <br />City Attorney <br />Assistant City Attorney <br />Deputy City Attorney <br />City Auditor-Accountant <br />City Building Inspector <br />City Clerk <br />City Treasurer <br />City Collector <br />City Engineer <br />or Director of Public.:Jorks/Ci ty Engineer <br />Fire Chief <br />City Librarian <br />Park Superintendent <br />Planning Director <br />Police Chief <br />Recreation Director <br /> <br />(d) All positions under the jurisdiction of the <br />Board of Port Commissioners of the Port of <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />(e) Temporary or part time positions. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Section 23.3 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
