A representative of the ConU-actor and a representative of the County'shall walk the site to dglgrrnlne the ne, ed and scope of ~ preposcd additional work. The County and Conlractor ~h~ll agree to the s~opo and cast of the addillanal work, and the acklifional work shall amhorized in writing by the I>irector of Public Works or his designated representative before said work is performed. Contractor ~hall obtain all ligeases and perln]~ required by city, county and state authorities. The term of this Agreement is for June 1, 2002 to June 30, 2004 a twenty-five month period at the f~s quoted on the attached Proposal daled June 19,2002 (Exln'oit "B"). 1~ Amount and Method of Payment Payraemt shall be mdc upon receipt of a written itemi?ed invoice identifying the County project number, complete scope of work, specific work completed, anmber of hours involved and breakdown of cha~es. In any event, Ibc total payment for services on Contractor (City of Redwood City) shall not exceed $58,500 ($53,224 for the 25 mantles of the conlract per attached proposal (Exhibit "B") and $5,276 in re, serve for contingencies). In any event, the County shall have the right to withhold payment ff tho County determines that the quantity and/or quality of the work performed is unacceptable.
