3/8/99 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13570 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR SPECIAL DISTRICT REASSESSMENT <br /> CONSULTING SERVICES REASSESSMENT REPORT <br /> (CONSOLIDATED REASSESSMENT DISTRICT - SEAPORT <br /> BOULEVARD AND SEAPORT CENTRE) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires special district <br />reassessment consulting services in connection with proceedings for the <br />issuance of assessment bonds relating to a proposed reassessment district to be <br />known and designated as the "Consolidated Reassessment District (Seaport)" <br />(the "Bond Issue"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, MBIA MuniFinancial of Temecula, California, represent that <br />they are qualified by training and experience to perform said consulting services; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve and authorize the execution <br /> <br />of the hereinafter referenced letter agreement with said MBIA MuniFinancial; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain letter agreement entitled, "Contract to Provide Assessment <br />District Reassessment Consulting Services," by and between the City of <br />Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California, and MBIA <br />MuniFinancial for special district consulting services for preparation of the <br /> <br />Reso-611 1 <br />G:\sha red\redwood\council <br />DE$:djk <br />03/01/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
