3/8/99 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13569 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR UNDERWRITING SERVICES <br /> (CONSOLIDATED REASSESSMENT DISTRICT - SEAPORT <br /> BOULEVARD AND SEAPORT CENTRE) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires expert underwriting <br />services in connection with proceedings for the issuance of assessment bonds <br />relating to a proposed reassessment district to be known and designated as the <br />"Consolidated Reassessment District (Seaport)" (the "Bond Issue"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Salomon Smith Barney and E. Wagner & Associates, Inc. <br />represent that they are qualified by training and experience to perform said <br />underwriting services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve and authorize the execution <br /> <br />of the hereinafter referenced agreement with said underwriting firms; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain letter agreement entitled, "City of Redwood City - Limited <br />Obligation Refunding Bonds - Consolidated Reassessment District (Seaport)", <br />dated January 22, 1999 in the form of proposal executed by Salomon Smith <br />Barney and E.
