3/8/99 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13566 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR BOND COUNSEL SERVICES <br /> (CONSOLIDATED REASSESSMENT DISTRICT - SEAPORT <br /> BOULEVARD AND SEAPORT CENTRE) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires special bond counsel <br />services in connection with proceedings for the issuance of assessment bonds <br />relating to a proposed reassessment district to be known and designated as the <br />"Consolidated Reassessment District (Seaport)" (the "Bond Issue"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Nossaman, Guthner, Knox & Elliott, LLP of San Francisco, <br />California, represent that they are qualified by training and experience to perform <br />the services of bond counsel; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve and authorize the execution <br /> <br />of the hereinafter referenced agreement with said bond counsel; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Bond Counsel Services <br />Between City of Redwood City and Nossaman, Guthner, Knox & Elliott, LLP," by <br />and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />California, and Nossaman, Guthner, Knox & Elliott, LLP, for special bond counsel <br />services relating to the issuance of assessment bonds relating to the <br />Consolidated Reassessment District (Seaport), a copy of which agreement is on <br /> <br />Reso-579 <br />G:~shared\redwood\cou n cil <br />DES:djk <br />02/01/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
